Welcome to Year 6 with Ms Calixte and Ms Darlene. We are both so excited to teach you this year. We will work hard but will have a fantastic year with lots of fun and learning.

We are also incredibly proud of the love of reading that we promote within our school. Ms Martin and Ms Calixte LOVE reading and we hope that we can spread our love for books with all of you.

Key Messages
Drop off to school is from the main gate on Wordsworth Road or the back gate on Cowper Road. The main gate on Wordsworth Road is open at the end of the day for you to collect your child from their classroom. If you would like your child to walk home alone, a letter of consent must be signed. These letters be found in the office. The gates are open from 8:30-8:45 in the morning and from 3:30-3:45 in the afternoon.
PE is on every Thursday; children can wear their PE kit all day.
Our after school clubs run 3:30-4:30.

Our extended day provision runs until 5:50 each day for children 5 years old and above.

Homework
Every Friday, we will set you homework and may be online or on paper. Homework needs to be completed by Wednesday. Homework is a fantastic opportunity to practise learning from the previous week and to identify things we might not understand and need further help with.
