School Uniform
Uniform is an important part of St Matthias School. How our children are presented contributes to the high expectations we have for all children across the school. We also know it makes getting ready in the morning more straight forward.
St Matthias Compulsory School Uniform Items
- White shirt (short or long sleeved)
- Navy and gold striped tie
- Navy blue v-neck sweatshirt jumper with or without a logo
- Navy blue jersey cardigan with or without a logo
- Grey or black skirt or trousers (not joggers)
- Black shoes (black trainers – must be totally black)
St Matthias Optional School Uniform Items
- Navy blue fleece jacket
- Navy blue microfleece lined jacket
- Navy blue winter coat
- Grey pinafore dress or blue gingham summer dress
- Infant Book Bag – Navy
- Large Book Bag – Navy
Where items above contain a link you can purchase them from the school uniform provider should you wish to. You can also purchase all of the items in the ‘Compulsory School Uniform Items’ list from supermarkets and other clothing stores.
You can also buy ties on ParentPay
- £3.25 for an elastic tie – elastic fits around the neck
- £3.65 for a straight tie – needs to be tied around the neck into a knot
PE Uniform
St Matthias Compulsory PE Uniform Items
- White polo t-shirt or Plain white t-shirt
- Navy blue v-neck sweatshirt jumper with or without a logo
- Navy or black jogging pants, shorts or skort
- Black trainers or plimsolls– must be totally black
St Matthias Optional PE Uniform Items
Children not in the correct uniform/ PE kit will be loaned the correct kit from our spare uniform cupboard.
